Natasha McDermott - Managing Director
Natasha McDermott qualified in 1999 and has practiced exclusively in criminal law ever since. A qualified duty solicitor for both the Police Station and Court. She also sits on the London’s Duty Solicitor Committee. Although she attends the Magistrates Court on a daily basis, in addition Natasha has Rights of audience, enabling her to represent clients at the Crown Court.
Natasha is tirelessly committed to pursuing the rights of those accused of criminal wrong doing. A great deal of her work is gained through personal recommendation.
Some of her notable cases include representing a client accused of one of the largest frauds (£6m) alleged to have been committed by HSBC bank. She also led a team of lawyers for the main defendant in the Heathrow Heist involving the theft of £3m. Although Natasha has specialist knowledge of general crime she has particular interest in Road Traffic Law & Extradition.
Natasha was president of the West London Law SOC in 2004-2005 and is an active member of a number of professional organisations.
Natasha is one of the founding partners of Carters Solicitors and is the firms Managing Partner.
